Capcay, which is Chinese food, is very familiar to the Indonesian people's tongue. The main ingredients for making capcay are vegetables. However, you can also add other food ingredients to this one menu, seafood for example.

1. Capcay squid sauce

- 200 grams of broccoli
- 1 stick of carrot
- 200 grams of sweet pea
- 1 spring onion, sliced oblique
- 5 squid, cut into pieces
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- ground black pepper, to taste

How to cook:
- Chop broccoli, carrots and peas. set aside.
- Saute the garlic until fragrant. Add squid and carrots. Pour in water and cook until the carrots are cooked.
- Add peas and broccoli. Pour in fish sauce and oyster sauce. Sprinkle ground pepper. Stir briefly.
- Add sliced green onions and adjust the taste. If it's not salty enough, you can add salt.
- When it is just right, transfer it to a serving bowl and serve.
2. Capcay prawns

- 4 prawns, peeled and deveined
- 1 small head of broccoli
- 1 carrot
- 1 clove garlic, crushed and chopped
- ¼ onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- ½ tsp broth powder
- ground pepper, to taste
- salt to taste
- granulated sugar, to taste
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- enough water
How to cook:
- Heat the cooking oil. Sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant. Add carrots and shrimp. Cook until the carrots are half cooked.
- Pouring water. Sprinkle ground pepper, broth powder, salt, and sugar.
- Add broccoli, stir briefly. Pour in the cornstarch solution. Stir until all the spices are evenly mixed.
- Once cooked, remove and serve capcay prawns.
3. Capcay seafood spicy sauce

- 8 pieces of prawns, peeled the skin
- 1 bunch chicory
- 1 bunch mustard greens
- 1 carrot
- mushrooms, to taste
- 5 meatballs
- 5 quail eggs
- green onions, to taste
- hot pepper, to taste, cut into pieces
- 1 tablespoon of shrimp stock
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
Ground spices:
- 4 red chilies
- 4 bird's eye chilies
- 3 shallots
- 2 cloves of garlic
- chili powder, to taste
How to cook:
- Heat the cooking oil. Sauté all the ground spices and chili pieces. Pour in the water and add all the ingredients, except the mustard greens.
- Sprinkle salt and sugar. Pour in oyster sauce and shrimp stock.
- Leave it until the spices are completely absorbed. Add mustard greens and spring onions.
- Capcay seafood spicy sauce is ready to be served.
4. Capcay seafood in tomyam sauce

- 1 bunch mustard greens, cut into pieces
- 1 carrot, sliced oblique
- 5 green beans, sliced obliquely
- 2 pieces of cabbage, sliced
- 10 pieces of shrimp, clean
- 5 fish balls
- 2 pieces of crabsticks
- 6 pieces of frozen food squid
- 2 shitake mushrooms, washed and sliced
Tomyam seasoning:
- 8 shallots
- 7 cloves of garlic
- 30 curly red chilies
- 10 bird's eye chilies
- 2 stalks of lemon grass, take the white part
- 1 galangal segment
- 3 packs of shrimp paste
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 brown sugar, sliced
- 3 tbsp tamarind water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt and broth powder
How to cook:
- Blend all the tomyam spices using a blender. Heat the cooking oil. Sauté the tomyam seasoning until it emits a fragrant aroma.
- Add tamarind water, lime juice, broth powder, brown sugar and salt. Pouring water. Cook until thickened.
- Add prawns, fish balls, crabsticks, and frozen squid. Cook until it changes color.
- Add carrots, beans and mushrooms. Cook until the texture is soft.
- Add mustard greens and cabbage. Cook until wilted and cooked.
- After that, serve capcay seafood in tomyam sauce.
5. Capcay sweet and sour seafood

- 8 prawns, peeled
- 1 carrot, peeled, cut into thin obliques
- 3 packs of pakcoy
- 2 scallions, sliced 2cm long
- 3 meatballs, halved and thinly sliced
- 3 pieces of tofu meatballs, cut into pieces according to taste
- 1 egg
- 300 ml of water
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
Ground spices:
- 3 cloves of garlic, crushed
- ½ onion, thinly sliced long
- 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- ¼ tsp ground pepper
- ½ tsp palm sugar
- 1 tsp salt
How to cook:
- Heat the cooking oil. Saute garlic and onion until fragrant. Add tofu meatballs, shrimp and meatballs, stir briefly. Set aside on the edge of the pan.
- Add eggs, make scrambled. Add carrots and pour water. Cover the pan until it boils and the carrots are slightly soft.
- Add the remaining vegetables and all the seasonings. Stir well again.
- Serve the sweet and sour seafood capcay when it's cooked.
